Celebrating Reunion Giving
Reunion provides a special opportunity every five years to express appreciation for the singular and unique experiences alumni had while students at Skidmore — and to be sure those experiences continue to be available for current and future generations of students. Many alumni reaffirm their pride and loyalty to Skidmore by making substantial commemorative gifts through the Skidmore Fund and often their estate during their Reunion year. Classmates who have never given or give infrequently will often participate with a gift as part of the celebration.
There was much to celebrate this year, including 14 new class giving records and seven
new records for Reunion giving, which totaled an impressive $22,022,970 and included
$1,603,698 toward the Skidmore Fund, thanks to 1,369 alumni spanning Reunion classes
from 1949-2019. This year's total Reunion giving was the highest in the College's
history.
