Veena Chandra

Veena Chandra, private music instructor of music, has been selected by the New York Folklore Society to train two apprentices this summer. She will also work with Warren King ’23, who will help to transcribe her music. 

Kris Covey

Kristofer Covey, visiting assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, presented research to the Adirondack Nature Conservancy and the Dome Island Committee with environmental studies and sciences students Emme Tissue ’23, Siddharth Nizamuddin ’21 and Christina Lindstrom ’22. The  collaborative  research with students, Associate Professor Kurt Smemo and Spatial Data Librarian Charlie Bettigole has continued for three years. 

Jenny DayJenny H. Day, associate professor of history, published the article "" in the Law and History Review.  She also delivered a public talk on her  book, “,” as part of the California State University, San Bernardino Modern China Lecture Series.  

Catherine Golden

Catherine J. Golden, professor of English, was interviewed for and quoted in an article on Jane Austen by Joshua Raff entitled "" published in Literary Hub on May 13. 

Christopher MannChristopher B. Mann, assistant professor of political science, was quoted in the Post-Star article “” The Vote by Mail mobilization program by that Mann helped design and implement was named by Fast Company Magazine as a finalist for its 2021 World Changing Ideas Award in the Politics and Policy category. Link to the list of finalists is . 

Minita SanghviMinita Sanghvi, assistant professor of management and business, was quoted in a Vanity Fair France article about “” emerging as the new face of the far right.
