Cerri BanksCerri Banks, dean of students and vice president for student affairs, has been selected by the University of California’s National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement as a 2020-21 fellow for her project “.” Ten projects were selected from a highly competitive pool of students, professors, law enforcement, policymakers and senior administrators tackling challenging and timely issues pertaining to expression, academic freedom and campus life.   

Barbara Black“Hotel London,” the latest book by Barbara Black, professor of English, received a 2020 Book Award from the Victorian Society in America, a national nonprofit organization committed to historic preservation, protection, understanding, education and enjoyment of 19th-century U.S. heritage.

Michael C. Ennis-McMillan, associate professor of anthropology, published an article, “,” in the Open Anthropology journal of the American Anthropological Association.   

Kelly SheppardKim FrederickWilliam KennerlyWilliam Kennerly, senior teaching professor of chemistry, Kimberley Frederick, professor of chemistry, and Kelly Sheppard, associate professor of chemistry, co-authored an article, “,” in the Journal of Chemical Education.  

Ela Lepkowska WhiteElzbieta (Ela) Lepkowska-White, with William Berg '18 and Amy Parsons, authored an article, "," published in the International Journal of Culture, Tourism, and Hospitality Research in October 2019. The article was partially based on the research that Berg and Lepkowska-White conducted in summer 2017, supported by the Summer Faculty Student Research Grant. 

Andrew LindnerAndrew Lindner, associate professor and associate chair of sociology, co-authored a new book, “” (Routledge), about the ever-changing media landscape.  

Aarathi PrasadAarathi Prasad, assistant professor of computer science, is who are developing a contact tracing app for tracking the spread of COVID-19.
